This letter was taken by the authorities from a resident of the city of Helsinki (Finland) Johan Nyberg who was helping Robert Schultz to deliver the letter to Schultz’s family to let them know about their son’s whereabouts. The further fate of the prisoner Robert Schulz is unknown to us, but now, 100 years later, in the run up to the International Archives Day, we decided to deliver the letter to the city of Emden, where descendants of Robert Schulz might still be living. We look forward to recieveing the feedback and hope the letter finds its recipients. |
